The Gingival Smile – From Conventional to Digital Approach
Gingival Smile is most of the time a problem for the patient and it could result from different abnormalities, and is often a Combination of several ones.
Since the Gingival Smile is of multifactorial origin, it cannot be solved until Esthetic and Etiological Diagnosis have been established.
Establishing an Adequate Classification and a Correct Diagnosis, would definitely help the clinician to choose the most appropriate Surgical Procedure to prevent any recurrence of the Soft Tissue over the Teeth and achieve an Optimal Esthetic Result
Crown Lengthening Procedure, is ONE of the Surgical Treatment Modality to achieve a Beautiful Smile, and/or an Apically Repositioning of the Biological Width, Create the normal Teeth Proportion, harmonize the Gingival contours, treat the Gingival Smile, .

A revolutionary new method for bone augmentation
In many cases, there is not enough bone in the jaws for the installation of dental implants. In some cases, narrow or short implants can be used, but in many cases, bone augmentation is required to increase the dimensions of the alveolar ridge. The greater the amount of missing bone, the more complex the bone augmentation becomes and the chances for success are reduced. In the lecture, we will describe a new groundbreaking method for performing both horizontal and vertical bone augmentations for simple and complex cases. The new method increases the chances for success and simplifies the procedure.

The results obtained by practitioners do not always mirror scientific data, and this paper will examine possible reasons for this discrepancy. Predictable results require consideration of risk factors at the treatment planning stage when immediate loading is to be considered.

Dr. SAADOUN has received his Degree in Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Paris and completed his Post-Graduate Certificate in Periodontology at the University of Pennsylvania and Post-Graduate Certificate in Implantology at the University of California in Los Angeles. He was an Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Southern California. He is also a Visiting Professor at Loma Linda University, UCLA, the Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine of Jerusalem University, and the Faculty of Dental Medicine Mohamed VI. He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Periodontology, a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology with a special Award of 25 years of contribution to The American Board of Periodontology, a Member of Honor of the American Dental Implant Association and Awarded Top of the World Leading Dentist. His book on Soft Tissue Management on Teeth and Implants was published in December 2012 and translated into Russian in 2013, Italian in 2014, Mandarin Chinese in 2015, Turkish in 2016, Cantonese in 2017, and Persian in 2022. He is on the Editorial Board of Scientific Journals, including la Nouvelle Revue de Parodontologie et d’Implantologie, and the Number1 in 2022, in English and In French, is dedicated to the New Paradigms in Esthetic Perio-Implantology.
